Native background lifecycle support uses launchd on macOS and systemd --user on Linux. Use dataporch run -f with another operating system or an external supervisor.
Compatibility here describes the current OSS runtime surface. It is not a promise that every vendor-specific database feature or client transport is supported. Adapter behavior and supported URL options are the authoritative details for a connection kind.
